South Jersey Federal Credit Union Presents
$500 Donation to Cape May County Zoo Society

Deptford, NJ – (August 3, 2010) – South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) recently donated $500 to the Cape May County Zoo Society/Zoo Friends.

The donation was made during a special 70th anniversary Family Day Picnic for SJFCU members held at the Cape May County Park. More than 300 SJFCU members and their families attended the event, enjoying a catered picnic barbecue lunch, deejay entertainment and the chance to spend the afternoon touring the Zoo.

During welcoming remarks at the Family Day picnic, SJFCU presented the $500 check to Bill MacQueen, executive director of the Cape May County Zoo Society/Zoo Friends.

MacQueen said that the donation will be used for the Society’s newest project – building a habitat for its new Snow Leopard cubs. The two male cubs, born in May, are the first of their species to be born at the Cape May County Zoo.
