South Jersey Federal Credit Union Initial funding of $2,500 for first of 10 years to be presented April 27 at GCC Campus Deptford, NJ – (April 17, 2012) -- South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) announces that it has pledged a generous, 10-year commitment of a total of $25,000 in scholarship funds to Gloucester County College. The first installment of $2,500 – to fund the South Jersey Federal Credit Union Scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year – will be presented by Benjamin T. Griffith, SJFCU president/CEO to Gloucester County College President Fred Keating in a ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 27. The presentation will take place on the college campus, with both SJFCU and GCC officials in attendance. The initial amount of $2,500, and the same amount of $2,500 to be given by SJFCU for the following nine years, is to be awarded to Gloucester County College students who are residents of the county and who plan to major in the business field and pursue a career in business. South Jersey Federal Credit Union, headquartered in Deptford, New Jersey, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and governed by its 40,000 members.
