Awards Scholarships to Six Students

Deptford, NJ – (July 9, 2012) -- South Jersey Federal Credit Union (SJFCU) awarded scholarships to six South Jersey graduating high school seniors for the 2012-2013 academic year at their chosen colleges and universities.

Students are eligible to apply for a scholarship is they are an SJFCU member, or if a parent/guardian is a member. Winners of this year’s scholarships were selected on the basis of academic achievement, teacher references, extracurricular and community involvement, and an essay.

The recipients, their hometowns, their high schools, and the college/university they will attend are:

$1,000 Scholarship

Margot Hultz
Little Egg Harbor
Pinelands Regional HS
Johns Hopkins University

$750 Scholarship

John Masusock
Margate
St. Augustine Prep
Rutgers University

$500 Scholarships
